In 2023, the Mission Concept (MC) program was added to UNP through a partnership with NASA’s CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI) and Exploration Research & Technology (ER&T). The MC program was created to help universities with underdeveloped space curriculum access mentoring and guidance in scoping a relevant mission. UNP expects that as these participants learn and grow, the pool of more mature applicants will also expand.
Each of the three interns must be US Citizens. SDL student intern registration must be completed no later than April 1st, 2025.
Universities are welcome to include PIs, Co-Is, and additional students at the final event in Albuquerque. Anyone interested in participating at the final event must submit the appropriate registration. Those who do not submit will not be admitted. Final event participant registration must be completed no later than May 27th, 2025.
